Untitled Story 01 Part 1.1

Wake up… wake up… stop wasting your time. Find your friends

George woke up, gasping for air. He thought for a moment about someone talking to him while he was in deep slumber. Checking his surroundings from the ceiling to floor, he found himself in a brown room, filled with Eastern Decorations. The scent itself was coming from a small container with few sticks of incense. Before arising from the bed, he realized that his clothes were missing.

“Where did it go?”

He went out of the bed, wrapped himself with a bed sheet, and surveyed the room. In one corner of the room, he saw some clothes neatly folded, placed in a table beside a huge mirror. As he wore it, he neatly fixed the bed, then, looked himself on the mirror. At that moment, he reminded of himself in 1964.

Did I just go back in time?

He thought about it. Everything seemed oddly familiar to him, although he spent a long time, pondering on it.

Am I in India? If it is, why am I wearing my old outfit?

Moments later, his mirror image moved, tapping his fingers behind the real person’s back. Looking around, the image spoke:

“Just go out there and find your friends before it is too late…”

“Too late?”

“Oh, just go, damn it. No more questions.”

The mirror image did not move. Silence came. Confusion came in to his mind. He didn’t know where he was exactly, what he is doing here, and he had no idea what is going on.

“Where are the others?” George muttered, remembered suddenly, and a bit worried.

Without pondering it further, he went out of the room. He found himself in a hallway. He seemed that the hallway looked like a black hole, did not know where the end would be. One of the doors beside him suddenly opened. A child entered, carrying a stuffed toy. As he saw this, he remembered the resemblance from one of his friends.

“Mister,” the child called, looking at him with fear. “Are you alright?”

Slightly surprised, George replied calmly: “Yes, I’m alright.”

At that moment, he recalled some things in mind, then, asked the child. “Do you know exactly where we are?”

The kid was puzzled, seemed that he did not know where they are. George sighed, thought that he must have asked a wrong question. He knelt down, apologized to the child. Afterwards, he stood up and walked towards to one end of the hallway. Moments later, the kid spoke. “Mister Harrison, Please don’t go to the end of the hallway.”

George stopped, began to ponder. He was a bit bothered. Looking around, the child just suddenly disappeared. He sighed; shut his eyes for few seconds, thinking that he won’t be into trouble. Going back to it, he encountered him once again.

“Don’t go to the end of the hallway.”

“And why?”

The door suddenly opened from his back. A shady character came, answered his question: “Someone would not be please if you go to the end.”

George turned his back upon hearing that familiar, completely shocked. The man introduced himself. Then, he ordered him to go back to his room so that he would not be into trouble.

“What trouble are you talking about?”

The man reminded him to go back. Momentarily, George went straight to the end of the hallway, ignoring their warnings. He even thought to get himself out of this bizarre world. While going towards to the end, Doors from both sides opened in progression. Thick smoke came out from it, forming a huge hand, then, beginning to follow him. He began to run as he smelled the scent of tobacco right behind him. Seeing the odd shape door at the end of the hallway, he turned the knob, entered and shut it immediately. While leaning on the door for air, he found himself in a studio with his friends, exhausted.
