Tales Compilation: Here Comes Halloween Pt 2

While the four went to the house uphill, people along the way warned them.

“The place is cursed!”

“Kids who played dirty tricks on the owner have gone missing on the next day.”

The group only did was to nod, yet moved on.

“Do you believe all of that stuff?” Ringo asked, as he walked between Paul and George.

“Nope.” George answered.

“It’s a fallacy.” John added.

“I could say no more.” Paul mentioned, agreed to the statement of his friends.

“Right.”

The clouds suddenly disappeared. The full moon shone brightly. Ringo stopped as he saw the moon, felt something inside that was about to burst. The other three looked at him

“Are you well, good sir?”

“I-I’m okay, P-Paul.” Ringo answered, winced.

“You don’t seem alright to me.” George commented.

Looking up in the sky, they realized. Ringo knelt down, screamed as he felt the pain. His sleeves and the portion of his pants ripped. A large tail appeared. Fur came out from his arms and legs. Wolf ears came out from his head. For awhile, he howled, stood up.

“Metamorphosis” John observed.

Noticing that nothing changed their friend’s face except with the fangs, George mentioned, teasing him. “Your face looks normal, don’t you think?”

“Oh quit it, George.”

Upon arriving their destination, they went to the front yard. In few seconds, several hands popped out from the ground, held their legs. The four effortlessly shook their feet, rushed to the doorstep. As Paul turned the knob and entered the house, John asked him, pushing Ringo and George inside. Telling them that no one was around, they entered. As soon as they went inside, the door suddenly shut tight.

“Typical thing for visiting the haunted house.” They mentioned, noticed the similarity in it.

While searching the entire house, they heard someone’s voice, laughing. Without any doubt, they went upstairs, found a staircase to the attic. Inside of that place, they saw the owner, sitting on a fancy chair, facing the window, enjoyed the show.

“This is a worth of the show.” He exclaimed, drinking a glass of red wine. “Chaos, Disorder… I’m loving it!”

Smelling the scent of blood in the wine, George sneakily came close to the table; yet, John pulled him back without any sound. Then, Ringo almost sneezed, yet, Paul covered his nose with his handkerchief. The man left his seat went to the device. Hearing a small creaking sound from Paul’s small step, he knew that someone entered the place, called.

“Don’t even try sneaking behind my back. Are you trying to stop me?”

As they stepped out from the darkness, the owner turned around, quite surprised.

“Wait a minute, how did you—”

“Long story sir.” Paul answered as his eyes were fixed on him.

“Long story, huh?”

“It seems that you’re the one who caused this mess.”

The owner maniacally laughed. George tried to reach the wine, yet, John gripped his clothes tighter. Ringo sneezed.

“Say, did you dust this place?”

“So, this must be the famous Beatles.” The man asked, knew their voices because of their local British accent. “I wonder how the famous band you doing here.”

“Can we just get to the point and return us to our normal, biological selves?” John reminded, requested.

“Normal? What’s wrong with this?”

Paul suddenly drew a rapier, pointing at him, quite upset with that kind of an answer.

“What the heck, Paul—” his friend mentioned, surprised.

“No wonder that you enjoy the horrific scenery. It is monstrous.”

“So much for drama.” George added.

The man looked at him, grinned, took out a n antique medieval weapon nearby. “A challenge, eh?”

“Prepare yourself.”

The tension grew. John released his grip. George paused, focused at those two gentlemen, wielding and pointing their weapons at each other, forgetting to get a drink.

“I have a bad feeling about this.”

“I know.” John replied, reminded everyone to prepare themselves.

Before Paul stroke him, the owner initially attacked. John pushed his friend to the side, received the damage, and flew off to the wall. Then, Ringo immediately tackled their opponent, knock him to the floor.

“It is a good thing that Johnny ‘ere is harder than steel.” George noticed, pulled Paul up. “Anyway, you ready?”

As the enemy rose up, knocked Ringo away, flew off to where John was, the two dodged, then charged in.

“Two against one, eh?”

While they attacked, deflected and dodged their blows, John stood up, pulled Ringo up then went to the device, pressed few buttons. The opponent, completely distracted upon seeing him manipulating the controls, received the damage from George and Paul, and disarmed his weapon.

“What are you waiting for?” the owner, breathing deeply, asked as if he wanted to end his life instantly. “Finish me off!”

“Sorry, sir.” Paul, replied, withdrew his rapier. “I’m a musician, not an executioner.”

“And besides,” George agreed, added as he saw Ringo returned to his original self. “We have other things in mind.”

John turned around; saw his friends returned to their original selves. Ringo saw his clothes completely torn out. Paul went to the mirror, removed the mask, and saw his perfect cute face. George followed, wiped his face and checked his normal teeth.

“It’s good to be normal!” Both of them cheered.

Ringo approached the man lying on the floor, asked for another set of clothing.

“It’s on the cabinet over there.” He pointed out.

“Thanks.”

John came to him next, knelt down, had few questions.

“So, do you know which way is the exit?”

“Exit?”

“Don’t play dumb”

“It’s in the closet, before the Master’s Bedroom.”

“Thanks.” He replied, ordered the rest to destroy the device. “By the way, you won’t need that anymore.”

Once the machine was destroyed, Ringo came back, a new set of clothing. The man asked everyone why they spared him and destroyed it. The group sighed, shrugged, and had no clue at all. Afterwards, as they went downstairs to the closet near the bedroom, Ringo asked Paul the same question out of curiosity.

“It’s not my thing to finish somebody’s life.”

“Oh.”

“By the way,” he continued, made a noogie on his friend’s head. “Thank you for bringing that up.”

“Hey!!!!”

Once everyone was ready, John turned the knob, opened the door. The light flashed, made them disappear.
